Kayan Field Trial on Rice Crop

An Integrated Nutrition Program for a Strong Start and Balanced Growth

The nursery and early transplanting stages are among the most critical phases influencing rice plant establishment, tillering capacity, and final yield. To support vigorous early growth, Kayan Import & Export conducted a field trial using an integrated nutrition program designed to strengthen seedlings, reduce transplant shock, and promote healthy vegetative development.

Stage One

Nursery Preparation – 3 Days Before Transplanting

The following products were applied to the rice seedlings prior to transplanting:

  • Brassino Top5 ml / 25 L of water
  • Alga Ferti Gold30 g / 25 L of water

This treatment was designed to improve seedling vigor, minimize transplant stress, and stimulate physiological activity before the plants were transferred to the permanent field.

Stage Two

10 Days After Transplanting

The nutrition program continued with:

  • Brassino Top50 ml/feddan
  • Inter Amino Zn300 ml/feddan

This application aimed to stimulate vegetative growth, enhance tillering, and improve overall plant vitality during the early establishment stage.

Field Results

Ten days after spraying, without applying any urea fertilizer, the treated plants showed significant improvements compared with the untreated plants, including:

  • Noticeable increase in tillering.
  • Strong, vigorous, and uniform vegetative growth.
  • Improved plant vigor and overall vitality.
  • Better crop establishment, providing a solid foundation for higher yield potential.

Conclusion

This field trial demonstrates the importance of implementing a balanced nutritional program during the early growth stages of rice. By enhancing seedling establishment, stimulating tiller development, and supporting healthy vegetative growth, the program helps build a stronger crop with greater productivity potential throughout the season.

Note: The results presented are based on the conditions of this field trial. Actual performance may vary depending on environmental conditions, soil characteristics, crop management practices, and application methods.
